After my first review "Loyalty," that was somewhat critical over a minor issue, a representative of Lamson reached out to speak directly to me about it. We had a good conversation and I was impressed with his obvious desire to ensure that the minor issue I was critical of was addressed and was rectified. Honestly, it wasn't much of a complaint, and I'm sure it was just a minor oversight because I've had nothing but GREAT service and products from this company and its' people. However, it is EXACTLY why I've come to love this company and those who work for it. I didn't expect to get any response at all, let alone a phone call from someone to speak to me directly. These days customer service seems to be a thing of the past, but not for Lamson. Their continued dedication to their products, their customers and their reputation is why I am, have been and always will be, a life long customer. Oh and by the way, their products are the best of the best, but it's the people that make it a great company. So kind of a good combo... Thanks again boys n girls of Lamson, keep up the good work...

I just bought my 25th Remix 3-set and own 8 liquid's and own a few others... I'm a diehard Lamson guy, I believe in local businesses.. When I lived right down the road from Lamson I decided to check them out, I've never looked back. Love the reels, they are incredible and I've never had an issue with them, until just recently. I'm not a guide, I'm not a rich guy, I'm not a professional fly fisherman, but I worked my ass off during my career to be able to afford decent equipment. I loved everything about Lamson but recently when I bought my last Remix 3-set, I got an email telling me that they had sold out and if I wanted to replace it with a liquid 3-set. I said no big deal, I'll just wait until they're back in stock, blah blah blah. I mentioned to them that I had realized that this was my 25th purchase of the Remix and I was a die hard customer and fully supported their business etc... I wasn't saying it to get attention or a "hey look at me," I was simply telling them so they'd know there's customers out here who support their business and are loyal to them etc... Not only did I NOT get any sort of response to my long history or purchases I simply got a "...ok, we don't restock those...." lol.. So, again, I wasn't looking for someone to say "oh my God you're a great customer, thank you, blah blah blah blah..." However a simple "hey thanks for your business or loyalty to our company" or something would have been nice. I thought it was pretty funny, it was like a "um yeah we don't give a s-it, just make your order and shutup... lol I thought hell a simple "thank you," wouldn't have been to much to ask. Anyway, it won't change my loyalty to the company, someone was probably just having a bad day, but it would have been nice because I think owning over 35+ Lamson reels for a non-guide/amateur was pretty good. Keep it up boys and girls, great reels, rods and product but don't ever get to big for your britches, remember where you came from... Good times

Just received the Remix 3 pack in " glacier" for Christmas. Put line on the first spool no problem. While winding line on the second spool it came apart. The spool came loose, the plastic gear stuck to the spool and the bearing fell on the floor. OMG. I was able to put it all back together and finished the task. Not a good start with my first Lamson. Hopefully it fishes well starting this spring.

A great value and Lamson quality all wrapped up into one package. Versatility for an angler with multiple lines and rods. I found this package to be a great addition to my ever-expanding collection of lines that reach across multiple rods as I travel for fishing, the carrying case adds to the organization and safety of the reel and spare spool. Great to additional Lamson products to the fishing toolbox.

Medium new to the hobby and really just starting to appreciate different lines for different purposes and this set makes that really easy. I like to travel pretty light when we get out and swapping out spools is perfect for that.

The reel looks cool too, it doesn't matter that much but I like it when my toys look as cool as they perform. My local shop built me a rod a couple years back and put a remix on it that is gold and these grey or smoke spools both fit on it but the mixed colors also looks killer, killer enough that some other fisher commented.
