Good, Functional reel that looks great. Solid Brake and a price point that delivers strong value. AND American made with terrific service from the Lamson Team. Not my first Lamson, nor my last...

Really impressed with the finish on the machined side. The cast side/spool looks even better in person than it does in photos. In comparison with my Guru s, which I absolutely love, this is a great real. It may not be my Guru S but it’s a fantastic back up or a great reel to put on a beginner rod. Although it doesn’t come with a neoprene reel cover, which it should for that nice finished machine job they did on it, I can’t wait to wet some flys with this bad boy!!

Reel quality

I have several Lamson reels. The quality rivals several others high end reels. Love the drag system and consistency. Best reels for the price without a doubt.

AK Tough Reel

This is my second Lamson Remix Reel and I have nothing but love for this reel. I primary use this reel for Salmon Fishing here in Alaska because it is light and has plenty of drag to stop any salmon species here. I have used and abused this reel and it has never failed me unlike the Redington Behemoth 7/8 wt fly reel I used to own prior to my first Lamson Remix Purchase. I am proud to say that I am now an advocate for Lamson Fly Reels and recommend them to all the tourist I see on the river. Keep up the great work !
