I own 2 and they are great reels
Reel showed up very quick and is exactly as advertised . Really wish I could get the Cinder color too
My favorite reel. I have two. Beautiful and functional. Can use for euro nymphing without the line getting caught between the spool and the cage.
I picked this reel up to replace an older velocity that fell out of the back of my truck. I've paired the reel w/ a 9wt rod and use it for inshore, bay, and beach duty. I've only had the reel a few weeks but used it extensively on a trip to Florida. The drag was great as expected and the line pick up and lay is far better than my old velocity.
I bought this reel in 2/22 and can’t say enough good things about it. I’ve always used Lamson reels, and this one is no exception. Responsive, heavy drag when needed, and smooth during all activity levels. I haven’t taken this one to the salt, but it has a fully sealed drag system so I wouldn’t hesitate if that’s a concern.
Can’t recommend enough, if you’re on the fence just go for it and you will not regret it.
