Big and beautiful
got the largest size in black for my salmon double handed rod. What a beast of a reel!! perfect weight for my 15 foot rod and balances it perfectly. Loads of line capacity and the perfect drag. The drag is superior on this Lamson and you can stop any salmon with the drag if you need to stop that runaway fish heading out of the pool. I ended up buying another 3 for my sons who decided to swap to lamson after getting the smaller trout versions as gifts. Awesome bit if kit.

I’ve gone to Speedsters exclusively for my 4wt Avantt because the rod is so light it’s the only ‘reel’ fit.

THis is my fourth Lamson reel. The smoothest drag with zero start up inertia. I plan to buy more of these reels. I had a previous warranty problem with one of the reels and it was resolved from phone call to part replacement within a week. No better warranty available from any company.

Best working and best looking Reels!
I own the 2 Guru's and a Speedster. Both are amazing. The speedster picks up line fast which is great for any rig. I have my sink tip line on it while the Guru is my all around go to. A+ for versatility, functionality, and looks! I want another Speedster and the Litespeed!!! Best all around on the market!!
