I have six of these reels and I absolutely love them. Super light, strong drag, and very durable finish on them. Although I use these reels on many of my rods, they really shine with a 3 or 4 weight rod...you just don't even feel the reel on the rod.

What a great freaking reel!
This is my first Lamson reel. I mostly own Ross. That being said my next reel will also be a Lamson! So light you think you have to be delicate with it. But you don't! This thing is build rock solid! Some amazing engineering went into this reel. Paired up perfectly with my G Loomis NRX+ 6wt. Throw a rio outbound on and start chucking some streamers!

Amazing Tool
Paired with my 6wt Helios3F rod, this reel is about as good as it gets. Insanely lightweight, great retrieve, and the drag is about as simple and straightforward as it gets. I will say that I've reached the limit of the drag on this reel with a few >23in rainbows, recently. My 5wt Micra 5 reel has a bit more substantial drag in comparison. I guess thats the trade off on the weight.
